Marvel Heroes Strategy Guide

The Unofficial Marvel Heroes Strategy Guide

Today, I’ll be reviewing a recent purchase I made at KillerGuides.com focusing on Gazillion Entertainment’s ARPG, Marvel Heroes. The guide, being a strategy guide aims to boost players to the level cap under 7 days which is the manual’s selling point. Sure, it sounded too good to be true and quite frankly, an extremely bold claim. Tossing aside my skepticism, I bit the bullet and bought the Marvel Heroes Strategy Guide to test out whether or not the methods proposed in the guide in fact, work.

The price of the manual is $19.99 USD and can be downloaded at the website’s members area once purchased. By opening the guide, the PDF is a beautifully illustrated cover page and the remaining pages were colored also. Very professional looking even for an unofficial guide. The table of contents is laid out in a professional manner introducing the game, the heroes soon followed by in-depth leveling sections. How in-depth are the chapters? Let’s take a closer look.

I’ve always been pretty innovative when it comes to developing leveling tactics. Surprisingly my tactics didn’t apply specifically to this game. Feeling outdated, I wanted to learn, no, to expose myself to ‘proven’ and ‘trusted’ methodologies that worked in this here manual. Cutting through the leveling section through step by step instructions, I was given insight to these leveling guidelines the author suggested. The author directed me to one such leveling method that consisted of my hero to head over to an undisclosed location which I missed out on my first time. I wasn’t even remotely aware of the location. Behind these secret doors, I was greeted with heaps of blue glowing mobs that drop high quality loot, included the necessary particles necessary for crafting.

In less than five minutes, my EXP and Credit income doubled. I have to credit the author with pointing out locations for easy EXPs. The great thing about this was that I was exposed to a myriad of leveling techniques which seemed quite inefficient but in actuality, worked wonders. Instead of giving me the name of the mission I was required to achieve, the author instructed me how to achieve it: I was given a precise location of the mission followed by the types of mobs that would be encountered, including a rundown list of skills that work effectively against mobs or a posing boss. Word for word, I tested out each of the methods and as a result, I easily gained multiple levels in an hour. Who would have though simple methods yielded so much? I stand corrected in thinking these methods were these methods were just over-hyped. They worked.

What I truly appreciated in the leveling section is the analytical overview of the objectives involved as well as how to complete them quicker (provided I use the recommended rotations). What’s great about these recommendations is that the author levels with you explaining the methods step by step and noting down their benefits gained. This alone demonstrated the highest quality of professionalism displayed in an unofficial book that I’ve come across.

Marvel Heroes Heroes

Other well-written sections I’ve encountered were chapters focusing on talents and rotations. Initially I was hesitant on using the rotations since I didn’t think I needed them. How wrong I was. Jotting out several builds, I experimented with them. At first I thought the rotations were too basic to make an impact but after using several rotations on a boss (which got on my nerves), I dropped in several critical shots while dodging. It’s hard to describe it word for word when my hero was doing surprisingly well by himself. Without the rotations or the fact of slotting appropriate points to my talent, I believed I would be performing this fight over four times, if not, more. The fact that I conquered this boss in one fight showed me the author knew exactly what the was talking about suggesting to me his preferred rotations.

Although I appreciated the intense information given, I’m a person who enjoys guides with images. Maps especially was something that I was hoping to reference in the chapter but unfortunately, lacked. I particularly didn’t agree on everything the book recommended due to some instances, the provided instructions failed to work for me. Maybe it’s just me. Maybe I’m not doing it right. But what I do know for methods that do work, worked marvels, pun intended.

This is a guide I highly recommend picking up. Why? The amount of knowledge I gained by reading the chapters alone helped me efficiently (and effectively) plan out my heroes one step at a time. I praise the author for showcasing his wealth of knowledge which can be put to practical use without wasting time dying, mindlessly grinding, that sort of thing. The lack of fluff is indeed a plus point in the guide but the crowning achievement is the extremely detailed leveling section. I came looking for a guide that provides innovative leveling strategies that boosts my hero to the level cap in just 7 days. The book did just that.

In conclusion, hands down this is simply a really great guide to have. Offering expert advice to avoid newbie mistakes, to a deep analytical breakdown how to level up, this book has it all. In fact, I’m thrilled by this purchase I upgraded myself to purchasing the Marvel Heroes bundle featuring a 26 cut-throat heroes’ analysis book and item and crafting guide.

marvel heroes iron man

If you’re planning on specializing the Iron Man, I can recommend this leveling book providing the best talents, effective rotations and plus, an all exclusive how-to leveling section. This is a guide you can’t miss if you want to mold the Iron Man into a formidable opponent in Marvel Heroes!

The world of Iron Man began as a man named Tony Stark. He was in charge of a company called Stark Industries who specialized in making weaponry. On a visit to the Persian Gulf, Tony Stark became a hostage when captured by the enemy and was forced to build them a new super weapon. Along with Ho Yinsen, a world renowned physicist and also a prisoner of the enemy, he created the first version of his powered battle armor. Ho Yinsen’s life was lost when buying Tony Stark the last moments he needed to initiate his battle armor. He escaped imprisonment and since then has lived two separate lives. He lives as Tony Stark, the businessman in charge of Stark industries, and as the modern super hero we know of today, Iron Man.

In the game Marvel Heroes Iron Man has many skills that make him a great choice to use as a character. His starting powers include Repulsor Blast, Pulse Bolt, and Reserve Power. Repulsor Blast can deal rapid damage with no spirit cost. Pulse Bolt has higher damage and deals damage to all enemies surrounding the initial target, but has a slower firing rate and consumes Spirit points. Reserve Power gives your character more Spirit points determined by what rank the skill is. At level two you gain the power Force Shield. This allows your avatar to suck up 50% of the damage dealt to him. The shield’s capacity starts at 200 damage but as your rank increases so does the capacity.

As you progress to level 3 you gain the ability of Hyper-Velocity Charge. This ability sends you straight through enemies with the use of your jet boots and force shield. The enemies in contact are knocked back which gives you the opportunity to hit them hard or escape if you happen to be in too deep. Repulsor Barrage is unlocked at level 4 and allows for a rapid fire repulsor blasts. This can be very deadly to enemies but be careful about using up all of your Spirit points. You may need them later when you get into a tough situation.

If you’re planning on specializing the Iron Man, I can recommend this leveling book providing the best talents, effective rotations and plus, an all exclusive how-to leveling section. This is a guide you can’t miss if you want to mold the Iron Man into a formidable opponent in Marvel Heroes!

If you already reached the level cap in MH and are on the look out for the next adventure, 2013 will not disappoint:

All of those seem to be promising title and judging by the blogosphere that surrounds them, they won’t be able to complain about a lack of community. For FFXIV there’s ffxivguide.net and ffxivarrclasses.com which seem to be the best sources of beta information. It’s going to be the first of those games getting released, so it features the most information (and hype). There’s even a site for French FFXIV fans.

Elder Scrolls Online might not make it anymore in 2013 (so technically it doesn’t really belong into this list), but we might see more of its beta this year already. Plus, it’s probably the most anticipated MMORPG in years after the run-away success of Skyrim.

Firefall is in open beta right now. The MMOFPS (think: Tabula Rasa, Defiance) doesn’t quite measure up to the other titles in terms of popularity – but maybe not being a mainstream title can have also some significant advantages when you’re not looking for another WoW clone.

rocket raccoon in marvel heroes

Rocket Raccoon (RR or Rocky) may be small in size, but he is one of the bravest and most loyal characters in Marvel Heroes. He is from the planet known as Halfworld in which several other animals with super powers reside. Rocket Raccoon is probably your favorite because of his intelligence, accuracy, and large weapons. He is a member of the Guardians of the Galaxy and you can start playing this character through the Founder’s Program where he is dropped as a reward.

At the start, all the basic powers of Rocket Raccoon are accessible via the left mouse button. As you go on, you can activate his other powers using the right mouse button. He has four types of skills: Galactic Guardian, Tactical Genius, Space Raccoon, and one Ultimate skill.

At the start, he has the following stats:

Durability: 2
Strength: 2
Speed: 2
Fighting skills: 3
Intelligence: 2
Energy: 1

Rocket Raccoon is a ranged fighter, so you may want to concentrate on adding points for his accuracy. You can also add a few points for agility especially since he tries to harry his enemies with quick shooting attacks. Although he has energy-based skills, you can skip this one and focus on accuracy build instead.

If raccoons are your thing however, there is another game you want to consider: Final Fantasy XIV (though keep in mind that combat works very differently in that MMO):

Are you searching for an in-depth strategy to assist you in Marvel Heroes? If yes, I highly recommend you to check out the Marvel Heroes manual immediately. deadpool in marvel heroes

Wade Winston Wilson, also known as Deadpool, is one of the characters in Marvel Heroes game for PC. His story starts with him being a part of the Weapon X program (the same one where Wolverine got his claws) where his cancer was healed. He is an anti-hero character who is mentally unstable probably because of his hyper-regeneration.

Some players tend to stay away from melee abilities except of course in the earlier levels. However, once their character reaches the level in which they can obtain more of Deadpool’s ranged attack skills, they will stick to those – partially because Deadpool is a ranged attacker. Another reason for this is because right now, if you wear an item for your character that has a +1 attribute and another item that has +1 for a particular move such as Armor Buster, you will not get +2 stats.

In this case, it is much better to focus on building your character with more abilities and leveling them up using the items. You can keep the current 1 point at the Bang Bang skill, but do not add any more points into it. Once you have unlocked Armor Buster, you can add a point or maybe two into this skill.

When you first begin the game, you will only have a few attack skills that you can use. Most of the skills are melee attacks at first, so you will have to fight against foes on close range. You can start with the following skills combo for your Deadpool character: Flesh Wound, Bang Bang, More Bullets, and Itty Bitty Boom. These skills are excellent for beginners who have not unlocked all the skills yet.
